With a little more than one week left to go before the fundathon ends, we have crushed our original goal and raised $3,386 for the Chicago Abortion Fund! We are so grateful for all the support our members, neighbors, and friends have shown for abortion care access.

Spectacular news: Alderwoman Leni Manaa-Hoppenworth has co-sponsored a city council resolution calling for the release of Mahmoud Khalil, an activist, green-card holder, and political prisoner that the Trump administration is trying to deport for his pro-Palestine advocacy!

Thank you to Alderwoman Manaa-Hoppenworth for standing up for Mahmoud, whose abduction represents an attack on everyone's rights. If we want the resolution to get a hearing in the Rules Committee, we will need as many city council representatives as possible to support it.

Supporting our team will help patients with the cost of travel, childcare, and related expenses. As nearby states like Missouri, Iowa, and Indiana continue to restrict abortion care, it is more important than ever that we make sure Illinois preserves access to it.
