CWO Liam Stokes attended a Gold First Aid Instructor course held at RAF Cosford. It was an intensive week learning new skills in first aid. He can now return to his squadron and deliver quality first aid training along with completing assessments ⛑️

FLT LT SHEILA WILSON STEPS DOWN AS OC 495 SQN
On Thursday we said farewell to our Commanding Officer, Flt Lt Sheila Wilson. Sheila has a long association with the Squadron, having spent three tours with the unit over the years; her last spell as Commanding Officer.

Cadets have completed the St John Ambulance Essential First Aid training. This 3-hour lesson covers basic first aid skills such as recovery position, heart attacks, CPR and how to use an AED.
