The Gospel of Thomas was removed from the canonical bible in 367 AD by Athanasius of Alexandria.

It contains 114 sayings attributed to Jesus.
Ot has no miracles.
No birth narrative.
No resurrection story.
No instructions requiring a priest, a building, or an institutional intermediary.

Saying 3 says: The Kingdom is inside you and outside you. When you know yourself you will be known.

Saying 70 says: If you bring forth what is within you it will save you. If you do not bring it forth it will destroy you.

Saying 2 says: Seek until you find. When you find you will be troubled. When troubled you will marvel.

There is no institution in any of those verses.
No building.
No priest.
No hierarchy.
No tithe.

A person who finds the Kingdom inside themselves has no need of an external structure to maintain their connection to it.

That is why it was removed.
Not because it was wrong.
Because it worked too well without the church.
