@LombardiHimself Yeah, IG is not better than BRJr. He lacks confidence and focus, evident by his fumbles. IG has talent but needs to go to a bad team where he can get some touches and his errors will be forgiven due to the team’s overall ineptitude. He won’t get touches on a playoff team.
@sportslarryk He might need to go through what Greenlaw went through. Leave SF to truly appreciate the organization. Maybe he signs somewhere and is back a year later like Dre.
@ChuckFBass Kenny Pickett was drafted #20 overall by the Steelers in 2022. If Pickett had the same stats, wins, and accolades as Brock Purdy he’d be viewed as a good 1st round pick. I am confident the Steelers would love to go back and select BP over KP knowing what they know now.
@grantcohn Joey Bosa is older, expensive, been injured a lot over his career, and he hasn’t had more than 6.5 sacks in any of his las 4 seasons. SF would be better off drafting an Edge in the 1st or 2nd round. I like Dani Dennis-Sutton from Penn St. at pick 58.
@urtazablue Damn. I just posted this somewhere else but do you think SF is trying to trade BA just to ensure he goes to Washington and not to Seattle or the Rams?
@OurSf49ers@AdamSchefter The more I think about it, I think the 49ers are trying to trade Aiyuk because they want to make sure he goes to Washington. If they release him he could sign with the Rams or Seahawks.
@Graham_SFN The issue I have is that Lynch already said that BA would not be back with the team. Kyle said he thought BA might be back around week 10 last season. I don’t understand what they’re doing. Do they truly believe they can get a draft pick for him or are they just punishing BA?
@urtazablue@BontaHill On paper the Bills were a better team and he got paid more, so I don’t blame Bosa for signing with BUF. This year is different. SF is making some serious moves to contend. Bosa will likely command around the $10M a year range, which is manageable for SF. The Niners need Bosa.
@TheRealTimmyP@LombardiHimself Maybe, but if he gets disgruntled and starts posting on social media, YouTube, etc., then you have a circus to deal with. I just don’t think you get anything of value by holding on to him at this point.
@TheRealTimmyP@LombardiHimself This isn’t a dig at you, but that is loser mentality. Let him sign wherever he wants. No need to spend any energy worrying about a guy who doesn’t give a damn about your team. Even if BA is an all-pro next year SF fans know that he needs to go. Move forward.
