Because when prayer no longer interrupts power, it stops being prayer. It becomes theatre. Faith becomes decoration. God becomes a supporting character in someone else’s story.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: it’s not divisive to call out bad theology. It’s divisive to teach it. Bad theology hurts people. It distorts the character of God, misleads the vulnerable, and often opens the door to spiritual abuse.
So, what is “bad theology”? It’s teaching that distorts truth and Scripture. Like the prosperity gospel that idolizes wealth. Or legalism that weighs people down with shame. Or anti-intellectualism that stifles critical thinking or mysticism that elevates experience over truth. Bad theology misrepresents the character of God and leads people away from sound doctrine. Then there’s also the problem of leaders who abuse their power… and it’s covered up. All of it is dangerous. This isn’t confined to one denomination, culture, or race. Abuse and false teaching don’t discriminate. They show up everywhere. No community is exempt from accountability.
But let’s take it a step further. Teaching false theology or hiding abuse is divisive.
But the division is compounded *when other Christians protect and defend those doing it.* They’re “anointed” and off-limits to critique. And those who speak up? Silenced. Shamed.
If your first response is to hush the whistleblowers and protect the one causing harm—whether out of loyalty, fear, or comfort—you’re enabling the very actions that cause corruption. Yes, wanting to protect “our own” can feel noble. But when that protection sacrifices truth and justice, it turns into complicity. Bless those who speak up. I know it costs more than people realize.
When you defend the abuser instead of the abused, you’re not defending the gospel. You’re helping cover up sin. And that makes you part of the problem. This is wrong.
Call me judgmental. Call me names. Call me a Pharisee. Cancel me. Because with the fear of the Lord in my heart:I. Don’t. Care.

@Harmless12345 People, read again.
@Harmless12345 is actually using positive sarcasm to recommend PO, praising & parsing him for the transformational role model he is.

@The_Chidimma What they dont know is that Yes he may of won an election but he was part of the rot. He is no hero in that sense. He wined and dined with the military who partook in coup after coup and death after death. In the end they told him he is not one of them.
I love this sort of bold statement. No going around the bushes, just cutting through them to tell the hard truths to their faces:
“This is not governance; it is economic sabotage” -Peter Obi.
That’s exactly what it is; if not, there is no way a rational and economically calculative government will shut down an entire market based on suspected tradings in illegal drugs in one section of the market. Why not close down only that single section of the market? Now, they have further pushed struggling everyday people trading to earn a living into far more excruciating living conditions than they were.
Sometime ago, large amount of cocaines worth in tens of billions were found in a warehouse in Lagos, the government didn’t close down every other warehouse in that location. It’s indeed an economic sabotage, not a governance.
It was great meeting with Congressman Robert Pittinger and Pastor Lucas Miles of @TPUSA yesterday, discussing how we can partner together for global evangelism as we prepare for the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump.
The harvest is plentiful, let's pray for open doors and hearts ready to receive the Gospel!
We believe in the power of the Gospel to transform lives and nations. Exciting times ahead!

Nigeria is a bad as the state of the church and we can’t excuse the church from the country.
We keep blaming the government and politicians and thought the church is free from the menace of corruption and defilement as well.
Who are the people working in the offices and corrupting the system in partnership with the politicians? Are they not the same people we meet at the offices also the same we fellowship together with on Sundays? Oh or because they’ve changed their clothes now and tied head gear and wore a tie with Bible, they’re different and holy on Sundays?
If we want change, let it start from the church!
