@nocapcal@Gina_Lavetti@CandiceLikesYou I would have shut it down after the first text. If he had continued to text after that, then I would probably consider contacting his boss. Putting the whole exchange on the internet was not necessary.
@serenityerror@nocapcal@CandiceLikesYou That is exactly what he should have done: asked her for a date / her number when she was there.
I would never say it’s inappropriate for a man to ask a woman for her number, as long as he can graciously accept a possible ”No”
@nocapcal@CandiceLikesYou He could have asked her for her number when she was there and she could have decided if she wants to do that. He went into the customer data base to get her number and likely also her address. He sent multiple texts, each pushier than the last. It’s creepy and stalkerish.
@MattWalshBlog I think him giving a speech instead is perfect. The musicians pulled out because it was going to be a Maga Rally instead of a celebration of the whole country. He may as well make it all about himself.
@marycatedelvey He felt elegant?
English is not my first language, so my proficiency may be worse than I thought, but “elegant” is not what came to my mind when I saw that.
@JenniferSey@MattWalshBlog There was a bipartisan committee “America 250” to plan the celebrations. Trump axed it and started “Freedom 250” which is by all accounts not bipartisan and not about celebrating the whole country, but celebrating Trump and his loyalists. That is why the musicians are pulling out
@JaneDoughRising@atrupar Boise would probably be your closest ”approved” airport. It’s ridiculous. Airlines can’t just divert thousands of flights. They need gates, local flight crews, local ground crews, infrastructure... It would take years.
@WomenReadWomen I’m 5’10”, so taller than the average woman. I have never been mistaken for a man.
People are 99.9% accurate in determining who is a woman and who is a man.
