DAY 49: 4,346.1 from San Francisco to Baltimore: WE MADE IT ๐๐๐๐ We ran 20 miles straight into the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. Humidity and the hilly start made our legs feel like noodles, but the thought of seeing our loved ones at the top of Federal Hill kept us going.
DAY 47: Wow - we are back in the mountains and how! We only had to do 6 miles individually, but the steep hills in the Appalachian Mountains cramped up our legs. We made it to Berkeley Springs, WV, before noon and were able to visit Madyโs house. The pool and swim was lovely โ๏ธ
DAY 45: Big shoutout to the local Lutheran Church who was able to provide us a place to sleep & shower and they fed us 4 meals in a 3-day notice! Pittsburgh was fun, running into Baltimore so soon now that our last rest day has passed... #4kforcancer
DAY 44: Time to run into another big city today: Pittsburgh. We only had 8 miles each to bring us from Youngstown, OH, to our 12th state Pennsylvania. Tonight, we are giving our first scholarship of the trip! We are very excited, also about the rest day tomorrow โ๏ธ #4kforcancer
DAY 43: Today we had 6 miles of running each today to cover the team mileage of 51 miles from Canton, OH, to Youngstown, OH. After our run, we had time to explore our 7th national park of the journey: Cuyahoga Valley National Park. At the host, it was time for our 4K Talent Show
DAY 42: Today, everyone ran 11 miles for our team to cover over a 113 miles from Columbus, through Amish County, to Canton, Ohio. Taylor had a lovely surprise waiting for her as her family drove 3.5 hours from Buffalo to surprise her in a coffeeshop! #4kforcancer
Columbus was so great to us! We toured The James Cancer Center, met Doug Ulman, had Christmas in July, and enjoyed home stays with loving families.

DAY 35: 12 individual miles brought us to Salem, Illinois today where we stayed at the local church who provided a delicious meal and breakfast. Several teammates started practicing for the talent show that is happening on the night of our rest day in Evansville, Indiana!
DAY 34: Today was one of our hottest days (heat index 108) while we each ran 12 miles to cross the border to Illinois. It was so hot that some of our teammates even ended up with melted asphalt on the bottom of their shoes! ๐ฑ Tonight we have real beds thanks to the dorms U of I!
DAY 33: Today we ran a half marathon distance (13 miles) each to run to one of our teammates, Anna, her home: St. Louis! The city was awesome and her dadโs surprise party was very welcoming. The view from the top of the office building was gorgeous too- We could even see the arch
DAY 32: Today each of us ran 15 miles each from Kansas City to Columbia, Missouri. The day started of slightly different with 3 of our lovely teammates who sprained their ankles at the exact same curb/storm sewage while loading the host van... itโs 4K OK! ๐ฌ
DAY 29: We had our shortest mileage day of the week today: 8 miles per person to run to Topeka, Kansas. Thank you for all your support and donations so far! Last night, we made it way over the $500 mark, so it was time for our 7/11 Slushee Challenge! #teambaltimore
One year ago was one of the best days Of my life. Ive never felt happier, more full of love, or passion. Iโd give anything to lay on that floor with these girls, and my family and look up at that ceiling and the clouds go by.
DAY 28: After a real rest and service day yesterday with real beds, we felt refreshed to beat the individual 12 miles today. Thank you to everyone in the Omaha region for hosting us and shout out to All State for donating $5000 to the 4K for cancer! #4kforcancer
DAY 21-22: Yesterday we each ran 7 miles to cover the 69 miles to Denver! We got to the host around noon, so we had time (and permission - thanks Becca!) to go to the Rocky Mountain National Park! Today we had a rest day and most of us watched the Womenโs World Cup Final ๐ณ๐ฑโฝ๏ธ๐บ๐ธ
DAY 20: We made it to Colorado Springs after 11 miles each! One van finished their miles at Garden of the Gods and once everyone arrived we received a tour of the Olympic Training Center! #4kforcancer
DAY 19: Happy fourth of July! Today, we each ran 9 miles to cover 84 miles total with the team. This and many honks and cheers from other cars - because of our fabulous USA outfits - brought us to the town of Salida! We watched the parade here and Amicaโs Pizzaโs donated a meal!
DAY 17-Todayโs 10 miles each flew by and we reached our next host in Alamosa, CO, before 2pm! Time for some napping, updating blogs, friends & family, and relax time. Shout out to Laurelโs mom for providing us dinner tonight and thanks to Ihop for providing tomorrowโs breakfast!
DAY 13: Today we had our third rest day since we started, which we used to visit the Grand Canyon National Park via the Southern entrance! A lot of us now have one item less on their bucket list ๐ช๐ผ Tomorrow we have our longest running day of the summer... a 16 miler! ๐ฑ #bmore
