Did you watch Putin's speech yesterday?

It felt as though he was living in a parallel reality. In his world, the Russian army is constantly winning, advancing, encircling its enemies, and all problems somehow solve themselves.

What's most surprising is that over the past few years, he has had several opportunities to end this war on fairly favorable terms. That was before oil terminals, refineries, and military facilities deep inside Russia began coming under attack. Especially after Trump returned to power, when a window of opportunity for negotiations appeared to open for the Kremlin.

But instead of seeking a compromise, Putin chose to demand things he had failed to capture on the battlefield. He wanted to gain at the negotiating table more than his army had been able to achieve through combat.

It seems he still believes that time is on Russia's side.

The problem is that time is working against Russia. Refineries are burning, exports are shrinking, military spending is rising, and the economy is becoming increasingly consumed by the war.

And the longer the Kremlin refuses to face reality, the higher the price Russia will pay for this war.

A road to nowhere.

Every Russian defense facility that serves the war against Ukraine is a just target for our long-range sanctions.

Last night, FP-5 Flamingo missiles successfully struck the Titan-Barrikady facility in Volgograd. It is a major industrial complex where the enemy produces artillery systems and specialized military equipment, including components for missile launch systems used in attacks against our people. Confirmed strikes were followed by a fire on the plant's premises. I thank the warriors of our Defense Forces for their precision.

The reach of Ukraine's long-range sanctions continues to expand. And it is precisely our pressure, day after day, that lays the groundwork for a dignified peace in the end. I am grateful to every Ukrainian engineer and warrior who is making our long-range capabilities possible. Glory to Ukraine!

Last batch before I can finally go home to sleep and heal.

​The scariest part of being sick in a frontline city was when several doctors told me I would need to go to Kyiv or Lviv to find a surgeon who could help me. As the doctor who first diagnosed the problem put it, "All the bright minds in our field have left for safer locations."

​This was less than ideal, as I don't have anyone to take care of me in those cities. But after months of searching, I managed to find one person who hasn't abandoned his practice in Kharkiv. Just one!

​I can't express how lucky I felt when he also turned out to be incredibly confident and knowledgeable. Solving problems like mine is his daily routine. Finding him meant my family could be by my side throughout this entire journey. I almost cried with relief after our consultation.

​I still have a long road ahead, but I am so deeply grateful for the medical workers of all kinds who haven't abandoned frontline Kharkiv. They work through air raid alerts and bombings, risking their own lives to save others.
