@mettaCA@amysenese@briebriejoy Is CalCare essentially Medicare For All, just on a state level? Or are there significant differences?
Honest question. I don't live in CA, so I don't know any details.
@Graelwyn@JimmyJ4thewin I can't imagine how you must feel about that. I've seen holocaust survivors speak out about the carnage in Gaza...and those very survivors called self-hating Jews for daring to say so. It's unconscionable.
@CollinCusce@realpeteyb123@DGwin12 You don't have to be part of either major party. Be Independent, Uncommitted, or just vote your conscience. If you vote at all.
I struggled with this, though from the opposite side. Took a bit, but it's so freeing.
I honestly wish you the best.
@brianhugstrees Absolutely, I miss you!
You're right about the Twitter. I'm not on here too much, but glad I saw your post.
I hope you're doing well, Brian.
@grinnell555@ryangrim@franifio The district wasn't killed/eliminated. But the boundaries were redrawn. I gave one answer, but I suppose it called for two.
It's still TX-30 and the one where Dr Haynes won the primary.
@grinnell555@ryangrim@franifio No. She entered the Senate race on the last day it could be done.
Collin Allred was initially running against Talarico but dropped out when Crockett announced. He's running for US Rep now.
She could have remained in her Rep. District if she wished.
@RizeDee@MaceAhWindu You have no idea how many people did just that over the past several years. "We don't need you." "We'll win without you." "You don't belong in our party." So...yeah, people left the party.
And will never look back.
Mission accomplished.
@TXBA_Tammy@IhabHassane Interesting that Menachem Begin, Rabin, Ehud Barak, Ariel Sharon, Naftali Bennett, and Netanyahu all referred to a place that doesn't exist and never has.
@OrangeFreddyG I plan to get back in the habit of audiobooks. Even short commutes or running errands add up quickly.
Do you use a service like Audible?
Public libraries, esp in larger cities, are a great resource, too.
