The first person to recognize Jesus was another baby in the womb, John the Baptist! All humans are made in His image, we have no right to purposefully destroy an innocent child made in His image.

This is a big no. He went from looking like the ultimate hero dad to his little kids to creating a core memory of confusion, shame and rejection. The little boy walking out saying “what happened?” 😢
I get he wanted to teach them a lesson, but this was not the way. Those 2 little kids were totally confused and at this young age don’t even grasp the concept of $$.
Maybe if these were actual junior high aged kids who UNDERSTOOD what they were doing.
Anyway, Sad. I hope dad has a change of heart, it’s not too late to mend this mess.

How I see it.
Peter just said out loud that Jesus was not John the Baptist, not just another great prophet, but THE Christ, Son of God, Lord and Savior. Jesus renamed him, well earned for his declaration of truth, and renaming was something God had done before to those faithful to Him. When Jesus said “upon this rock I will build My church”, He meant upon the revelation that He is Lord!!! His “church” is Peter, all the apostles, and each one of us who believe, like stones jointly fit together, upon the foundation of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior 🙏

1 Peter 2:4-5
“Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”

This is what they diagnosed her with. Another term they used it’s marijuana induced psychosis. All I know is it happened to her, because of the drug. It does not happen to all people. But it’s happened to enough for the director of the entire facility to say it’s their number 1 problem.
