“You’ll soon be able to travel to Asia without leaving Tucson!” Thank you to the City of Tucson for this construction sneak peek at Reid Park Zoo’s new Pathway to Asia opening in late 2026. And huge thank you to our Tucson community for helping make this incredible new addition.
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”
~John 14:26🕊
Good morning,
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of this new Sunday. Thank You for Your mercy that is new every morning and for Your faithfulness that never fails.
Today, I surrender my worries, plans, and burdens into Your hands. Fill my heart with Your peace, my mind with Your truth, and my spirit with Your presence. Help me to draw closer to You, trust You more deeply, and walk in obedience to Your will.
Lord, strengthen those who are weary, comfort those who are hurting, heal those who are sick, and encourage those who feel discouraged. Let Your love shine through us so that we may be a blessing to others.
Guide our steps, protect our families, and remind us that no matter what this week may bring, You are always with us.
May this day be filled with worship, gratitude, rest, and the joy of Your presence.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen. 🙏🏻🤍

A rare jaguar has been captured on trail cameras wandering through the rugged high-elevation canyons near Tucson, Arizona.
The male jaguar, named Cinco, was documented returning repeatedly to the same watering hole over a ten-day period. His movements provide strong evidence that the remote “Sky Island” mountain ranges of the American Southwest still offer enough prey, water, and cover to support these magnificent predators.
Historically native to the region, jaguars are showing a remarkable ability to adapt to the harsh desert terrain. Cinco is believed to have traveled from a breeding population in Sonora, Mexico, successfully navigating the challenging borderlands and existing barriers. His journey highlights that critical wildlife corridors between the United States and Mexico remain active and functional.
While no breeding females have yet been confirmed north of the border, Cinco’s presence brings renewed optimism for the natural recovery of jaguars in the American Southwest. Continued trail camera monitoring and community-supported conservation efforts to keep cross-border pathways open will be essential for the species’ long-term return.
“If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray?”
~Matthew 18:12🕊
The Bible promises that God will give grace to the humble (James 4:6, 1 Peter 5:5). When you ask for help, he will supply, and you will be increasingly set free from the ravenous quest that is the discouraging existence of so many.
