[ENG TRANS] #BTS #Jimin reveals tracklist for solo 2nd album 'MUSE'... title track is 'Who'
The title track of BTS' Jimin's solo second album 'MUSE' has been revealed.
Jimin posted the tracklist of his new album 'MUSE' on BTS's official SNS at 0 o'clock on the 21st (KST). According to the tracklist, which consists of various images of cassette tapes, "MUSE" will include seven songs, including "Rebirth (Intro)," "Interlude : Showtime," "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Rocco)," "Slow Dance (feat. Sofia Carson)," "Be Mine," "Who," and "Closer Than This. Jimin participated in the writing and composing of six of the songs and sincerely expressed the stories he wanted to tell.
While Jimin's first solo album 'FACE', released in March 2023, was about facing the complete 'me', his second solo album 'MUSE' is about his journey to find the source of inspiration. The seven songs are closely connected by the theme of 'love' that runs through the album.
The title track of 'MUSE' is 'Who'. The song is in the hip-hop R&B genre and is characterized by strong bounce and guitar work. It was created by Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter/producer Jon Bellion, producer Pete Nappi, Tenroc, and others, including Pdogg and GHSTLOOP.
The third track, "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Rocco)," is set to premiere on April 28th. The song is based on a "marching band" that plays while marching, giving listeners an upbeat feel. By adding the hip-hop genre to the big band (large-scale orchestra) sound, the song has an energetic bounce, rhythm, and dynamic atmosphere from start to finish. In particular, rapper Rokko participates as a featured artist and creates a different synergy with Jimin.
'Closer Than This' is the final song of Jimin's solo second album. It is Jimin's solo single released on December 22, 2023, and is a fan song that expresses his sincere feelings for ARMY. Jimin's charming beauty and the voices of the 'Yeonyeon Boys and Girls Choir' full of innocence combine to create a beautiful impression.
Meanwhile, Jimin's "MUSE" will be released simultaneously worldwide on July 19 at 1 pm KST.
