@_robinmturner@kkdumez (I am relatively new to Tweeterdom. NOOB!)
What I mean to say, is that a theology of adults-as-kids can remove the adulting barriers that so oft lead to exclusion. Through a lens of childlikeness (ie., we are all God’s kids) we are all - already a family.
A family of families.
@_robinmturner@kkdumez Absolutely. Though I would argue not ministry by, for, or to children. We adults must (be like) children.
Tell stories; don’t preach (ie., the Good News [is/as story]). Seek wonderment over dogma. Generational collaboration over segregation. Narrative over ideology.
Be kids!
@AgapeEurope@esaumccaulley@TyndaleHouse Thanks! It was a lot of fun to put together! And actually, both the whale and figure were my mockups for placement and light. Not intended to be the standing characters. But it worked beyond my hopes!
@danwhitejr @realkimstover Institutions > people.
Institutional self-preservation > needs of the family (aka the church).
We aren’t friends. But add me to your tally. #29
@erikaannemills @philvischer Imagineer! I love it! If only could all be imagineers! And yes - certainly. I am passionate about church being a family of families. A sociological counter-force in an ever-changing world! And I do love to create. Converging those passions is my passion!
