After a successful AGM, we are in full swing here with the first of our two workshops delivered by Carol and Robert from @thecoop_band and @whitburnband respectively. Great advice and discussions around what matters most to our members. @CreativeScots @4barsrest @BBWMagazine

Graham Chapman was born OTD in 1941.
Chapman was the best actor in the Monty Python crew, he shone as both King Arthur and Brian in their movies. John Cleese said Chapman's biggest contribution to Python was an intuition for what was funny.
And now I'm in a Python mood...

On the anniversary of Diego Maradona’s death, here he is at 19 years of age running the show for Argentina at Wembley in 1980.

Involved in everything, taking players on for fun, and getting kicked around the park. This match sums up his career perfectly.

In awe, I watched the waxing moon ride across the zenith of the heavens like an ambered chariot towards the ebony void of infinite space wherein the tethered belts of Jupiter and Mars hang, for ever festooned in their orbital majesty. And as I looked at all this I thought... I must put a roof on this toilet.

Thanks @siddisbrass and the team at @WorldOfBrass for a great weekend in Stavanger. Bravo to all the bands for the entertainment too - just about every musical genre and style covered. Congrats to the winners. Back here for the Euros next year.

I've been hearing today from farmers who don't believe these stats showing that fewer than 500 farm estates per year would pay IHT under the new rules.

Or fewer than 200 if two spouses both use the £1m cap. Fewer than 100 (6%) if they also use their nil rate bands.
