UK cryptobillionaire Christopher Harborne is one of the biggest donors in British political history - his millions have put Reform UK on the map.

But our investigations team has seen evidence that he has played the electoral system, by declaring Thailand as his home while also at times continuing to claim residency in Hampshire.

He’s recently moved back, although when we visited his small village no one we spoke to had ever seen him. It’s illegal to say you’re a resident somewhere if you’re not - but when asked about Mr Harborne, the council told us they cannot comment on individual cases.

The Electoral Commission is understood to be in touch with the local council about our findings. Mr Harborne declined to comment on our findings but his lawyers insisted he complied with all applicable laws regarding his resident status.

The way I understand these walk in clinics (WIC) to work is that existing GP surgeries are paid a premium rate to provide staff. My surgery in Tollcross ‘supports’ the Wester Hailes WIC for example, which means staff will be diverted there, so reducing the service on offer at my surgery…it’s hardly efficient or value for money. Just more performative politics.

Three years suspended for warning that children were being harmed. This morning, Dr Jillian Spencer was cleared.

In 2023 the child and adolescent psychiatrist was stood down from the Queensland Children's Hospital after raising concerns about puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. She was reprimanded, threatened with dismissal, and refused to retract.

Queensland Health has now discontinued every disciplinary proceeding against her, accepting that her concerns were grounded in her training and experience. AHPRA has dropped its investigation.

'I've been exonerated,' Dr Spencer said. 'My name has been cleared, and I can hold my head high.'

Credit to Dr Spencer, who would not back down, and to the Human Rights Law Alliance, who stood with her through it.

It took three years and her place at the hospital. How many clinicians watched that happen and decided to say nothing?

Please pray for Dr Spencer as she rebuilds, and for those still weighing whether to speak.
