Why are Davao City and Puerto Princessa classified as cities?!?!?! Both are over 30x larger than Iloilo City but DC has almost the same number of baranggays (184) vs IC (180). PPC on the other hand only has 66 brgys.

Why were they not classified as provinces instead?!?!?!

On the other hand, the PH government is once again going back in time and being primitive half-wits. Instead of trying to have government stakes in public transport like jeepneys, it is going the opposite route and dropping whatever hold it has on our railways.

Other countries have made an effort to acquire their public transport. The New York subway system, for example, was built by private companies, but the government made an effort to acquire them over time because they realized that having a gov-owned subway is for public service.
