On Sunday, September 20th, members of the Center for Political Innovation (CPI) gathered outside Zanies for the Jimmy Dore show to pass out literature to attendees, receiving a great response from the crowd. Rain or shine, CPI members remain dedicated to delivering articles and analysis that matter to the American working class—those standing against big banks and private corporations.

​We distributed our article on peace with Russia, which sparked positive conversations with attendees who agreed on the need to end the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The piece highlighted the recent diplomatic efforts in Moscow by Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, offering hope for constructive outcomes. It also examined Eurasia's ongoing economic growth, emphasizing why the U.S. should collaborate with the region—including the proposal to build a Bering Strait "Peace Tunnel" connecting Alaska to Russia. Ending the war in Ukraine will foster joint economic opportunities between Russian and American corporations and redirect billions of dollars back toward jobs and education here at home.

​The event was hosted by Jimmy Dore, with anti-imperialist journalist and editor at The Grayzone Max Blumenthal appearing as a special guest. Supporting independent voices like Dore and Blumenthal is critical in a climate where corporate elites and authorities target independent commentary. This includes figures like Caleb Maupin, leader of CPI, who was recently interrogated after serving as an election observer and speaking at the World Public Assembly on September 18th, 2026, as well as Blumenthal himself, who was detained by U.S. Customs and Border Protection on July 10th, 2025, after attending the funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei—who was killed in a joint U.S.-Israeli operation on February 28th, 2026.

​During these difficult economic and geopolitical times, coming together for good laughs and solidarity at Jimmy Dore's show was essential. It was inspiring to see people unite around the understanding that working families must organize against elite oligarchs. This is why we are building a government of action for working-class families.

My YouTube channel was deleted on September 18th.

I was in Russia as an election observer, and I had just given an anti-imperialist speech to the World Public Assembly when I got back to my hotel room to see messages from people wondering why all my videos were gone.

I have had this channel since 2008. I started it when I debated a classmate about “socialism vs. capitalism” at Baldwin-Wallace, when Barack Obama was contending with Hillary Clinton in the Democratic primaries. After 18 years, the channel and all of its videos were suddenly gone.

I need your help!

If you support anti-imperialist voices and oppose this kind of censorship, I urgently need you to send this letter and the accompanying video to everyone you can. I need you to subscribe to the Center for Political Innovation YouTube channel and set a notification for our next upcoming livestream on Monday, September 28th at 9 p.m. Eastern.

We need to rebuild my social media audience QUICKLY! Do not let the algorithm drive me into obscurity.

We don’t know exactly why this happened or what the official reason was. The only reason given by YouTube was its policy regarding “violent extremist or criminal organizations.”

This could be related to the way I have discussed the conflict in Yemen, including writing a book on the history of AnsarAllah (Houthis) and describing them as an anti-colonial liberation movement. It could be my interview with Viktor Bout from prison, a Russian who was falsely charged with various crimes before finally being able to go home to his family due to a prisoner exchange. It could be my support for and coverage of protests for Dr. Hak Ja Han, an advocate of peaceful reunification of the Korean Peninsula who is currently imprisoned in South Korea on bribery charges that her supporters dispute.

Whatever specifically triggered the decision, I am not just some random person on YouTube. I have met with multiple heads of state. I spoke directly with Russian President Putin in 2024. I had an exclusive, face-to-face sit-down interview with Ebrahim Raisi in 2023.  I lead an organization of anti-imperialist activists, a growing community of resistance and network of activists called the Center for Political Innovation. I risked my life in 2015 on a humanitarian mission with the Red Crescent Society of the Islamic Republic of Iran, trying to bring medical aid to Yemen through the Saudi blockade. 

We are not going to be silenced. I am not going to back down now because I never do.

We need all hands on deck! It is urgent that everyone step up to the plate and help us reboot the nightly livestreams that not only provide updates on global news and insights about history, spirituality, and economics, but also provide hope and community to thousands of people who tune in for nightly broadcasts.

We know the game they are playing. Do not let our enemies in Silicon Valley and the intelligence agencies select who gets to be a voice for anti-imperialism and who does not.

I know we are winning. The new, rising BRICS economy and the global anti-colonial movement are in the ascendant, and the Wall Street monopolists and Pentagon hawks are getting desperate because they know they are losing.

So right now, I am asking everyone who supports our work to do two things:
