in tahoe they have working dogs whose job is to flush wild bears from dens theyve established in residential areas, posing a risk of human bear encounters. this results in some of the most kino animal photography of all time
Professor Marandi said it straight. We are not Egypt. We are not Pakistan.
And he was right. Egypt fought Israel once and then settled under the American umbrella. Pakistan built its own nuclear deterrent under sanctions, a real achievement. Yet today both still feel the heavy hand of Western pressure.
Iran is different. This is a nation of nearly ninety million people, not some tiny isolated outpost. For half a century the most powerful empire on earth has tried to crush it with sanctions. And still Iran stands.
Look at the numbers. Iran graduates more than two hundred and thirty thousand engineers every single year. That is more than France and Germany combined. While the United States still has no universal health system, Iran built one that reaches almost its entire population, from the big cities to the smallest villages. Childhood vaccination rates sit near one hundred percent. Life expectancy matches countries far richer. They produce ninety-seven percent of their own medicines. They made their own COVID vaccines when the world tried to lock them out. Their engineers reverse-engineered German gas turbines and now ship them to Russia. They build more cars than Britain. They launch their own satellites. They rank among the top nations in nanotechnology and biotechnology. They created a national internet network so they would never be fully dependent on outside cables.
They have the knowledge, roughly eighty percent of what is needed, to build a nuclear bomb. Yet they choose not to. One reason is principle. They see it as a line that should not be crossed. Another is wisdom. If Iran crossed that line, every Gulf capital would demand the same. A country with near-universal literacy and hundreds of thousands of engineers could do it. They simply refuse.
This is not propaganda. This is what happens when a people decide to survive on their own terms. They took in millions of Afghan refugees when times were hard. They cut oil to apartheid South Africa and stood with Mandela. They sent weapons and trainers to the Bosnians when the world looked away.
The West has spent decades painting Iran as nothing but a threat. That story is incomplete. Iran is also a country that turned isolation into innovation, sanctions into self-reliance, and pressure into scientific progress.
If this planet is going to survive, we need more of that spirit. Not more wars. Not more endless suspicion. We need nations that compete in knowledge, in health, in human dignity, and in the quiet strength of standing on their own feet.
Iran is not perfect. No country is. But it has shown that a large nation under maximum pressure can still educate its people, heal its people, and build its own future. That is a lesson worth studying, not a story worth burying.
WATCH: A mother grizzly bear approaches a fishing boat, spots a salmon in the water, and snatches it just a few feet from a fishing charter in Alaska.
Fishing guide Carter Brown kept his cool the entire time and said he started filming as the bear foraged along the river. Moments later, she was fishing for salmon right beside him.
"My clients were mind-blown," Brown said.
Brown says encounters like this are part of life in his unique corner of Alaska, where bears and humans regularly share the same waterways.
Read this Fauci diary entry closely. Officials would not admit the vaccine was not stopping spread because it might weaken the legal case for mandates. That is not science. That is a cover-up to justify coercion.
Now do you believe me...
The entire point of the 2020 lockdowns was to halt money velocity, so they could print $6 trillion and bail out the banking system without causing hyper-inflation.
Dr. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s most prominent doctor during Covid, is confronting the biggest challenge to his legacy yet.

@DD_Geopolitics Iran lies? USA assassinates during or before negotiations take place so Iranians know for a fact negotiations are worthless and are pushing USA to a complete capitulation!
The House of Saud + scores of Islamic nations never came up with a "coalition" to defend Gaza.
Now we have a "coalition" led by the Saudis to fight Yemen in the Red Sea.
Including Pakistan, Egypt and Turkiye.
I'll dig deeper into the perversity in my upcoming column.
Raza Pahlavi: "Once the regime falls, we will find the best location for an Israeli embassy in Tehran."
🤡 Clown prince is living in a different world.😂
Orcas pulled up and surfed right alongside them.
At Sunset Beach in Port Waikato, New Zealand, a pod of orcas joined two surfers in the lineup and rode the same waves just a few feet away. One guy ducked under a wave and came up face to face with a dorsal fin bigger than he was.
They weren’t hunting anyone. They were just checking out something new in the water.
There’s no record of a wild orca ever killing a human. Still doesn’t make it any less unnerving to look up and see one that close.
Would you have kept surfing or paddled in?
