1 bad accident, 2 major surgeries, 3 blood transfusions, 7 days in @shocktrauma , 40+ PT sessions (& counting), countless 🙏, 161 days and she’s back. She said she could and she did. Speechless, thankful and blessed! A-mace-ing!
Not all your students come to class wanting to learn… but they all come wanting to belong. And when they feel like they belong… they’re much more likely to learn.
National School Counseling Week falls on the first day of Black History Month. School counselors in particular have an ethical responsibility to be change agents and actively advocate for our students, fight oppressive systems, and create systemic change within their communities.
I am so grateful to the school counselors I have worked with over the years & am proud that my daughter is studying to be a school counselor. I appreciate more than anything the positive impact they have on our students, families & communities. #bettertogether#celebratecounselors
There are several upcoming events planned for Nov!!!
