For this, I used RZP Standard Checkout to ensure sensitive card details are handled directly by the payment gateway instead of being sent to my backend.
Create server-side, verify payment signatures on the backend, and confirm bookings only after verifying the payment status. 🤷🏻‍♂️

While integrating a payment gateway, I noticed sensitive card details appearing in the Network tab of DevTools when a request is sent to my backend.

Is this normal, or am I handling payments the wrong way? 🤔

/create-booking (temp lock)
/create-order (rzp)
/verify-payment

Create orders server-side, verify signatures, and confirm bookings only after payment verification. 🤷🏻‍♂️

@mehdidotnet Thanks for explaining this! I hadn't considered that each tab has its own mutex. `navigator.locks.request()` makes sense for cross-tab coordination. Definitely something I'll keep in mind!

🔐 JWT refresh-token race condition.

🚨 Multiple API requests returned 401 simultaneously, triggering multiple token refresh calls.

🛠️ My solution
• Used "async-mutex" to synchronize refresh requests
• Updated the access token in Redux
• Retried failed requests after refresh

Authentication is more than generating tokens—concurrency matters too. 🚀

Debugged a backend issue where "req.cookies" was undefined and fixed it by configuring "cookie-parser" before the Express routes.

Key takeaway: Handling authentication isn't just about generating JWTs. It's about managing concurrency, token rotation and cookie handling.
