After learning more about John Hattie and effect size , I understand the importance of student expectations and routines. Having quick morning meetings with students helps build relationships as a class. #ImpactLearningKS

Our book study on "High Impact Instruction" by Jim Knight continues this week in Advanced Instructional Methods as we read and discuss chapters 10-15. When my students read something that impacts their classroom practices, they will retweet this and share it! #ImpactLearningKS
Assessment capable learners is important to evaluate as an educator to understand your students and the direction you need to in order to meet the needs of our students.

Some resources that districts provide have content that is not relevant to the standards of that grade level. One needs to truly research if the curriculum will be effective for the students.
