@MGzstaR @sairureia i'm not sure what you're saying. also you might've missed it but i linked trusted measurements for both. one performs objectively better than the other, and is actually cheaper as well. the full build can cost more if fully custom, but can be less with preassembled group buys.
@ExtraSuperEvil @sairureia there's always also alternative cases. picked up an overture v2 to build later this year, and i forgot the names but there were at least 2 other good affordable ones
@9vvxxzz @sairureia fairly subjective but i'm using unionwell ice shine after holding a small gauntlet between 10 or so on an acrylic pad, looking at sound, tolerances and feel. you can get them for a reasonable price on ali. jade deltas were my #2 but the bottom out is too harsh. and theyre pricy.
@sairureia wallhack got their popularity the same way, popularizing glass pads, then offering an in stock option. never been a top pick though, and they seemingly can't keep texture and speed consistent between units. keyboards are also a new field for them, so could have silly oversights.
@sairureia when it comes to the wooting, they gained popularity by doing something new, but their build quality has always been quite lacking, when picking them over any random starlink board you're paying $100 extra for their warranty and software, hard to justify imo.
@4krylic @BBYR4N ill do you one better. mgg 020 are insane value, feel great, are long lasting and as far as ive seen don't have that adhesive spillage/lumping issue others do with time. they're afaik the thinnest pu grips you can get. silicone doesn't absorb sweat or oils so isnt as long lasting
@ryoyaamada could be caused by really bad stem wobble, but lekkers along with gateron ks-20 are some of the worst switches ever made in that regard so i'd be both surprised and concerned if that's the reason. could be fixed if they added a small kinda deadzone in the bottom tho
@leoclacks@haru6k herz has some issues with top out chatter but i did like their feel. and yeah the problem with the ice was that the v2 uses ice extreme top housings which are worse, so only worth looking for v1/r1.
@haru6k tbtl v2 controls and unionwell bingyao (ice shine), switches are pretty subjective so id say maybe buy a couple with good tolerances and compare the feel and sound on an acrylic stack or keypad, that's what i did. close contenders were ttc horse and jade delta
