woop did i disappear for months just to reappear to talk about robotics? yeah.
i post marginally more often on my other account @asturchivist and i post much more often on my private account @privastur
"ai ethics" concerns only the actual artificial intelligence. copyright law works weirdly with machine learning, especially unsupervised learning. its all so muddled and many sites that take images for databases have that term hidden in a lengthy privacy policy. this cannot go on
i dont talk abt this much, but im a STEM student and THIS. IS VITAL. the field of ai has ZERO official code of ethics. so many platforms have absolutely no idea how to handle tos regarding ai and bots. LET ME REPEAT. THERE IS NOTHING ENFORCING PROGRAMMERS TO WORK ETHICALLY.
