Witness I alleges that Pooe is notorious in Rustenburg for using violence to gain mining “rights”. About 17 members of her ‘security’ were arrested with 32 firearms. According to Witness I, General Mbotho demanded that the suspects be released.

He alleges that the suspects were Pooe’s nkabis. The suspects never appeared in court.
