Ever wonder how 'sundials' work? Well, fourth class went to work yesterday to try and find out how these ancient devices tell the time. We traced our shadows at 3 different time intervals throughout the day and discussed our findings thereafter. @SAttracta @scienceirel
Today was a very successful day out for our hurling team. Despite facing some stiff competition and torrential rain, our team came out on top and are through to the next round. Congratulations guys on a job well done 👏. @ActiveFlag@MayoCnmB@BealachanDoirin

Huge congratulations to the Cumann na mBunscol mini 7's boys team who won all three of their games on Friday last. They encountered some stiff competition but dug deep and came out on top. Well done lads 👏. @ActiveFlag@BealachanDoirin@Ballagh_GAA
After today's superb field trip to King House in Boyle, I firmly believe that our 4th class pupils have some Viking blood running through their veins. Many thanks to our tour guides Mary and Katie who helped make our trip a very enjoyable one. @KingHouseBoyle@HeritageIreOPW
Our local Community Garda called in to visit the children of St. Attractas today. Garda Sinead insisted that it was just an informal visit, but I firmly believe that it was a recruitment drive to join the force 😉. @BealachanDoirin@SAttracta
