We are digging into our story Woods Runner and working together to answer some text-dependent questions. It's a tough novel, but they are figuring it out. #eessoars
Wow! We are reading a historical fiction book about the American Revolution, and we made a list of details we thought were fact or fiction. We then researched several of those details to determine which were actually factual and presented our findings. They did great! #eessoars
We finished this week with a Raven Feather Celebration dance, a picnic, and "Flashlight Friday". I think we all agreed that it was a great way to wrap up our 3rd 9 weeks of school! #eessoars
We finished “Read Across America” week with our first “Flashlight Friday”! The kiddos loved reading their books with flashlights! We'll definitely be doing this again! #eessoars
I'm so thrilled with these kids explanatory essays! They have worked hard and it shows. Ask your kiddo about the different perspectives of the American Revolution. #eessoars
We analyzed an engraving by Paul Revere and discussed how it told a little different story than the secondary sources we have been reading. We have to look at all perspectives to understand the whole story! #eessoars
It's all about perspective! To think a little deeper about this, we were given a piece of a mystery picture, and through discussion, created what we thought the completed picture would look like. There were many variations, just like perspectives. #eessoars
We had a great day in 4th grade. Fun activities, an in-school basketball game, and the excitement of Thanksgiving! We wish all of our EES families a safe and happy Thanksgiving!! #eessoars
Today is one of my favorite days...the kickoff of our novel study "Hatchet"! We filled our "backpacks" with 10 items we would want to have camping in the mountains. Then we had a "Surviving the Wildnerness" book tasting with a yummy treat. So much fun! #eessoars
