As we were getting ready for dismissal 2day, a student handed me some post-it’s. B/W switching, sanitizing, & lining up students, I tucked this in my planner w/o reading it. As I sat down 2night, worrying 4 these young scholars, this note fell out of my planner. This is my why 🤍
Teacher: "I wasted so much time teaching kids to work out tech that we got no work done."
Me: Teaching kids to manage tech; get comfortable with talking & listening online IS the work. Right now it's a more urgent skill to teach than much of the 'content.'
