I think they need a bit more than that. They need to be stripped of their seat. They need to be disbarred and lose all ability to practice law in any form in the United States of America and if they're naturalized, I think they should be sent home. That's just my opinion. That's a little harsh but the last part, but some of these people have been barely here for five years.

That's a tough one. Just tracking that money would be ridiculously difficult. Morally yes it's the right thing to do. They should be punished. I don't know how you'd get them to both pay it back and spend time in prison. I would start with barring them from holding office. Yes a criminal record would make it difficult for them to get one of those cushy high-level corporate jobs that they so often get when they leave.
