The paper describing TEsorter as an accurate TE classifier is out on @Hortres! The most creative usage so far is to identify TE-related genes in de novo gene annotations, and it works great! TEsorter is created by Ren-Gang Zhang and available on conda thanks to @JacquesDainat.
