🚨 Broad Peak Avalanche Disaster 🚨

Four bodies have reportedly been found after a massive avalanche swept through an international climbing team high on Broad Peak in northern Pakistan.

Six climbers remain unaccounted for, including world-renowned mountaineer Nirmal “Nims Dai” Purja and Pakistani climber Sohail Sakhi. The avalanche struck between Camps II and III at around 6,600 metres, sending several climbers hundreds of metres down the mountain.

Army helicopters, drones and high-altitude rescue teams are searching the avalanche zone, but severe weather, unstable snow and the extreme altitude are making the operation dangerously difficult.

A Malaysia Airlines pilot was arrested in Indonesia after allegedly attempting to smuggle 70,114 ecstasy pills and 2.7g of methamphetamine into the country.

Indonesian authorities said the 39-year-old admitted to acting as a drug mule in exchange for RM50,000 to deliver the drugs to Jakarta.
