You will not live forever. You have a melting clock. Time will appear to move faster as you get older.
You only have around 500,000 hours to live your life, the other 250,000 are spent sleeping.
Are you living the life you want?
Change comes the very center of who we are.
If you're trying to change just by going through the same motions as everyone else, it'll never happen.
Make change by changing what you believe.
When you watch a car on the road go by it looks simple - 4 wheels, a shell and a frame.
It's only beyond the surface where the complexity exists.
Many moving parts, electronics, fluids - only experts see these things.
They have expertise because they go beyond the surface.
When you seek to be rich, know this truth:
Money will solve your money problems, and many problems are money problems.
But after you solve your money problems, you will find it solves nothing else.
Being rich changes very little about the person you ultimately are.
If you care more about what you can get from your relationship than the relationship itself, the relationship is doomed.
Save yourself from the situation and realize that you can either move on or dedicate yourself to the relationship instead.
You can't improve your life if you don't know what's wrong with it.
You can't figure out what's wrong if you're not paying attention.
You can't pay attention if you don't reflect about your days.
Sit down with a journal. Reflect to fix your days. Fix your days, fix your life.
How you spend your days will tell you what you're getting better at doing:
- 2 hours prepping for work
- 8 hours of unfulfilling work
- 3-4 hours of staring at your phone
- Repeat the above until you get to the weekend
Your life is the product of the system you've made.
Wherever you are at this moment in life, remember that it is temporary.
In particular, if you've had a bad day, week or month.
You can still look at each day and appreciate that you woke up this morning, that you are alive and that you can change your life.
You're not going to live forever. No one is.
You don't need to focus on what happens after you die or worry that it's coming.
You'll get there eventually without doing anything.
Everything you want is the opposite of death.
You need to focus on it.
You need to work at it.
Don't underestimate connecting with people.
No one gets far on their own.
Learn to listen and understand more than you talk.
If you can do that much, you'll get much further than you thought possible.
Whatever your circumstances are right now, they will not last forever.
What is true today may not be tomorrow.
The greatest highs can lead to the lowest lows.
Regardless, your choices are the only way to move the needle one way or the other.
