Why is Saudi Arabia being dehumanized The answer is simple War needs a pretext just as Attila used Honoria to justify his campaign against the Western Roman Empire This is how humans have always operated
🇸🇦 An OpenAI engineer has been ARRESTED for allegedly planting a secret RECORDING DEVICE inside the company's San Francisco headquarters.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Saudi national Abdulrahman Alfozan, reportedly hid the device inside an executive conference room.
Federal authorities are investigating.
Who was he trying to listen to, and what was he hoping to capture?

Fukuyama description of the gulf resonates with me: a society who skips 2-3 levels of development is a husk. You have never heard of a Kuwaiti political theorist, or a Qatari writer, or an Emirati noble peace prize winner. They’re stage sets impersonating nations.
There are people out there who are so spectacularly dumb its almost impressive so f braindead. They are out here screaming ˆYemen vs Saudi Arabiaˆ like the saudis woke up and decided to erase an entire country. Houthis ≠ Yemenis. Confusing the two is peak smooth-brain behavior.
My theory:
Leftists dehumanize us because they inversely correlate prosperity and development with moral character.
A poor or underdeveloped country must be so due to resisting Western hegemony and asserting its sovereignty.
Any developed country must be so due to its complicity and subservience to Western imperialism [SIC].
Right-wingers dehumanize us because we’re brown and Muslim.
I vastly prefer the latter; much less condescending and pretentious.
