La representación de la mujer en el cine "está cambiando pero no tan rápido como se dice a veces o como está de moda decir. Quedan muchas cosas por cambiar". El testimonio https://t.co/KFuNsuLyOQ
Liz Truss' first act as PM is to oppose a windfall tax on the oil and gas giants making £170bn in excess profits.
Instead, she wants the British people to foot the entire bill for her energy package.
She stands up for the vested interests, not ordinary people.
If a government subsidises people so they can pay bills, can we ask...why?
doesn't it mean they're subsidising companies to keep prices and profits...high?

New PA announcements running at all tube stations: “All TfL services are now solely focussed on ensuring critical workers can move around as needed. You should not be using public transport or travelling for anything other than essential journeys.” #StaySafeStayHome
I volunteered to do this. The consultant anaesthetist I was with volunteered. This is bringing out the best of us. Now can the rest of the country please bring out their best and listen! #covid19
Those red/purple marks across my face are from my mask and are deeper than you think. Today I have seen just what covid19 is doing and now I just want to scream at people to listen to us.
This is the face of someone who just spent 9 hours in personal protective equipment moving critically ill Covid19 patients around London.
I feel broken - and we are only at the start. I am begging people, please please do social distancing and self isolation #covid19
@LearNonsense Here’s a kitty visited me surprising last Friday. She’s also a to-be mummy. Luckily I managed get in touch with a rescue centre and they found her true home.
She clearly wants to say: happy birthday 🥳
The Creative Industries Federation (@Creative_Fed) quite rightly points out that Boris Johnson’s “advice” about no bars, pubs, theatre, movies, gatherings etc is carefully constructed to make sure no qualification for insurance - it’s not a ban. Killing them nonetheless
Massive problem for restaurants, pubs, entertainment industries. Government says don't go, but has not enforced closure, meaning none of them can claim insurance.
One event organiser tells me: "If they don't enforce any closures then pretty much the whole arts will go bust."
Our Editor-in-Chief @richardhorton1 alongside public health academics calls on the UK Government to urgently share scientific evidence used to inform its #COVID19 plans in a letter in @thetimes#COVID19UK

@CaleiSmith@SDinGov I actually rang 111. They told me that as I can't confirm if the person really tested positive, and if I had "close contact" with them, and as I'm not showing any symptoms, they wouldn't suggest me to do anything atm. So do hope the person get in touch.
