Houry also notes the sheer number of children born in #ISIS territory. A potential “stateless generation.” Some would be entitled to citizenship of their mother or father’s home countries.
Kurdish authorities do not have these women at the top of their list in terms of “judicial triage” & encourage countries to take them back. Women of 40 nationalities are being held.
