Billionaires should not own social media platforms.
Billionaires should not run our newspapers.
Billionaires should not control our politics.
A free media is a democratic media - a public good that is owned and run by us all.
"You can't ask pensioners who are struggling at just over £12,000 to give up that type of money.
"There are other choices could be made to bridge that gap that the Tories have left, through taxing wealth."

🚨BREAKING: Supporters of Youth Demand paint the words 'Genocide Conference' on the Labour conference.
Labour banned the use of the word on Monday, so we thought they might need some help in labelling their spinelessness for what it is.

Victoria Derbyshire @vicderbyshire really is the best anchor journalist the BBC has got - and has been for many years.
Never fawning, never afraid to hold power to account, never afraid to ask direct questions that everyone watching is thinking.
Wes Streeting 😔
When Keith Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Lisa Nandy, Wes Streeting, etc, justify austerity by blaming 14 years of Tory rule, remember this: every single one of these lying, money-grubbing pricks spent 4 years sabotaging Jeremy Corbyn to protect the corrupt system they now exploit.
If you were being heckled for selling arms to a Government that has killed or injured over 100,000 civilians, you’d surely be minded to show just a little empathy.
But then again, this is quite clearly a changed Labour Party.

We are the 6th richest economy in the world; we have the money. Britain needs investment, not austerity mark II. We won’t get any gold badge for shaving peanuts off our debt.
The winter fuel cut is the wrong decision and it needs to be reversed. @guardian#LabourConference24
Fiscal rules are self-imposed. You can change the fiscal rules if you want to. In 1945 we had double the debt-to-GDP, more than double we’ve got now, and we built the #NHS and the welfare state. We went on to be prosperous. #LabourConference24

BREAKING NEWS
Labour introduces a new Clause IV.
To secure for the landlords by exploitation and extortion the full fruits of their property rights and the most inequitable distribution thereof upon the basis of the private ownership of the means of wealth and rent-extraction.
“24 hours in A&E” is out everywhere now. It's a song about the state of the health service in the UK and how it's been ran into a state of managed decline.
I'd written a poem one night, when I couldn't sleep, about my experience in A&E and that of others. Went into a studio with a good friend and we had this mad idea to make something a bit different, with a 90s New York hip-hop-inspired production behind it.
When I went looking for lyrics in my notes, this poem stood out to me and it's come out how you hear it today. It's definitely different, but it still has an important message and I stand by it with no regrets whatsoever. Had a boss time making it and learned loads. Hate it or love it, just don't be a troll.

P.S. Wait until yous hear my death metal, jazz-infused single coming after this one ☠️🤘🖕
The top 50 families have more wealth than half our population. The profit margins of the average British firm have rocketed by 30% since before the pandemic. If we taxed 1% on the wealthiest 1%, the so-called black hole would be gone. #WealthTax
