I repeat, human rights may be the banner of the various woke justice movements, but human rights are wrong when they contradict what God says is right for humans.
In Jesus Christ, God wrapped Himself in flesh and then unwrapped Himself in death. He is the present that opens up heaven; and in Him alone, heaven's presence on earth is open to us. Merry Christmas from the Maher’s.

The nearest and dearest encounters with Jesus are often in the furnace. Why? Because trials often strip us of our worldly comfort and get us to long for God's comfort. Fiery trials refine our faith and renew our focus.
God's faithful plan runs through the falls and flaws of man. In other words, nothing we do (or don't do) can thwart what God is doing. However, let us commit to doing God's will so as to be a part of what He is doing. "Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
