“why isn’t my landing page converting?… my ad’s doing fine”
i get this from coaches all the time
your ad creates one specific feeling
your page opens on a completely different one
CTR looks healthy because the ad did its job. but that’s just the beginning
your conversion WILL suffer if there isn’t congruency across the board
stop split testing headlines and fix the congruency
sell overwhelmed people clarity
sell unconfident people confidence
sell poor people financial freedom
sell lonely people belonging
sell tired people permission to rest
sell stuck people the next step
sell invisible people attention
(make sure u actually deliver)
conduct deep ICP research (forums, comments sections etc)
slap it all in a markdown file
feed it to claude & understand what your buyer YEARNS for
build an offer around those exact problems
make a funnel & audit back to front
drive traffic to said funnel
enjoy mate
@zaidchakir true, ig thats just a case of them wanting to live a certain life through their child. either they didnt have the opportunity to live that life or they didnt put in the work to get it. that mixed with them caring what others think
@KayaSlaya for sure. there is always someone else in the world with the same problem. people who've actually lived a problem write about it differently than people who studied it from the outside
the more research you do, the more money you make
before i build any funnel, i spend HOURS researching
reddit threads, forums, comment sections...
anywhere your market complains WITHOUT being pitched
that language is worth more than any swipe file
it enables you to speak to your buyers like nobody else
people don't lie about their problems when they know they're not being sold to
your customers arent dumb
they're distracted & overstimulated CONSTANTLY
write copy for someone skimming with one eye on their phone
not someone studying every word like an exam
clarity always beats clever
“oMg oPuS 5 iS oUt”
it doesn’t matter what ai model you use
the data you provide it with is far more important
i just cooked up a VSL with opus 4.6 ffs
its all the same shit. prompt well + feed the chatbot and ur good
your funnel should do everything it NEEDS to without the extra shit
was looking at a quiz funnel today where it asked for email optin before even taking the quiz. it proceeded to ask for email at the end of the quiz
extra shit = extra friction = another reason for your prospects to close the tab
each word of copy has to be ARCHITECTED in a way that moves the reader to the next word
each question on your quiz needs to make them WANT to answer the next one
each second in your VSL needs to either shift beliefs or sell
if it isn't moving them forward, it's moving them away
im gonna jump off a plane with no parachute
that’s exactly what my brain hears when coaches tell me their first funnel is a webinar
webinars print if done right. we already know this
but a webinar doesn’t build the trust that gets someone to attend it in the first place. it SPENDS it
you’re asking someone who’s never heard of you to give up 60-90 mins of their life
people only give you that if they believe you’re worth it
which means… the webinar isn’t the vehicle that earns the belief. something befoer it has to
when you have a proven offer, people that know you & traffic that already converts, that belief exists & the webinar cashes it
but as a FIRST funnel, you have nothing to cash. no one believes you yet
and that's before you factor in how most coaches run them
the "live" webinar that starts every 30 minutes. the opt-in with 7 fields. the reminder sequence that's one calendar invite
three points of friction before the webinar even starts
start with something that asks for less trust up front. VSL call funnels do that
the trade-off is your pre-call sequence needs to be DIALLED in. a webinar sells before the call, whereas a VSL funnel makes you earn that sale between booking and the call
you also get conversion data in days rather than weeks
build belief first. then spend it
“as long as my ads get the click, i’m good”
a coach told me this. and he wasn’t entirely wrong, but this mindset can NUKE your conversion rates if you’re not careful
getting the click is step one. if no one clicks your ad, no one gets to the next stage
but the next stage needs to be a natural progression of what the ad was
if your ad makes a specific promise to a specific person in a specific emotional state,
your landing page has approx 8 seconds to confirm that promise was real
when the ads and landing page are mismatched, it causes confusion in the prospect’s mind. confused prospects never buy
the click is just the start
