“I don’t want any of you to ever think that we can’t get through this. But I want us to thrive, not just survive.”

“The stakes have never been higher,” Phang said. “We are 49 days away from the November midterms. Are you registered to vote? Check it. Do you know where you need to go? Make sure you’re doing it.”

“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s not worth it. And don’t let anybody tell you that you can’t get out and vote.”

Phang closed: “Every day we are given the choice to be on the right side of history, and every day we should make that choice the right way.”
