Clinton's call to arrest people for disinformation was a crushingly ironic moment since it was her campaign that funded the infamous Steele dossier and spread false stories of Russian collusion during her presidential campaign...https://t.co/gxe33x5VuA
Because illegal to vote means the person who cast the fraudulent ballot was caught after their fraudulent vote had been counted.
- After an investigation was initiated to gather evidence of a fraudulent vote
- After the election was certified.
- After the person who benefitted from that fraudulent vote was already sworn into office.
The SAVE Act is to stop ineligible people from voting BEFORE they cast a ballot, BEFORE the vote is counted, BEFORE the politician benefiting from the fraudulent vote is sworn into office.
@TwoQuoque@shipwreckedcrew Good points,
Add that language to the legislation.
Push it through
Force the open border NGOs fight it out it court.
Of course that requires Thune to have a spine.
@davidharsanyi The debate about who is a socialist, communist, marxist combined with the debate about defining socialism/marxism/communism is a distraction.
An attempt to drive the discussion into the weeds, away from the decades of proven failures.
For me, it's now the SMC complex.
@BlueBoxDave This whole thing seems like an NPR segment.
Haven't read, don't plan to read it.
Just gives off a vibe where the study is an anthropology/sociology field trip into a far off distant land where the "others" live.
In the 250 years since the Declaration of Independence was written it has lifted tens of millions into freedom and prosperity.
In the 175 years since the Communist Manifesto was written it has led to the murder of tens of millions.
Choose wisely, America.
Democrats advocating socialism mostly don't have a clue what it is. They think socialism is like Norway or Denmark, or that it's like the Post Office or the Fire Department. Not true in the slightest.
Here’s a definition from Paul Samuelson, the winner of the first Nobel Prize for economics:
“Socialism refers to the government ownership of the means of production, planning by the government and income distribution”.
In other words, socialism is where the government owns the farms, fishing boats, and factories, and decides who gets what they produce.
Socialism has a simple history. IT HAS NEVER WORKED, NOT EVEN ONCE, NO MATTER WHERE IT WAS TRIED. Inevitably, it has led to shortages, starvation, bread lines, grinding poverty, and totalitarian dictatorship.
Always. No exceptions.
Don't be fooled. We don't want it in the US. Read the post below; it explains what socialism is and isn't.

So we endlessly fund "international development" until those whose income relies on US taxpayer money tell us in one of their conferences at a international 5 star hotel, that a country doesn't need our development money any longer🤣🤪
The well of sympathy and empathy is running dry for countries that for some mysterious reason can't stand on their own after decades of us subsidizing their economies.
@JamesSurowiecki@TheRightColumn@jessesingal Because its not our job, responsibility nor requirement to endlessly fund health care for the rest of the world.
Especially when we have our own infrastructure problems to fix and massive debt to pay off.
Like many others, I have been alarmed by the success of certain politicians in our country who identify as extreme socialists or communists.
This is not a matter of classical liberals triumphing over standard-issue conservatives; this is the victory of people who stand athwart the fundamental principles that undergird our country.
There are many reasons why I detest Communism, but I want to draw attention to just one issue of supreme importance.
Karl Marx said that the first critique is the critique of religion. He meant that, before a complete re-working of the politics and economics of a society can take place, religion has to be taken down.
This is because religion, as he saw it, is the “opium of the masses,” a drug taken to dull our sensitivity to the suffering caused by economic exploitation. As long as the suffering populace is lured into complacency by fantasies about God's providence and the promise of eternal life, they will never rise up and throw off their chains.
But there is a second reason why the elimination of religion is of paramount significance for Marx.
Communism aspires to be a totalizing system, involving the government's control over education, entertainment, communication, politics, and especially economics.
What stands resolutely athwart this ambition is religion, which declares that all of these societal expressions are finally under the judgment of God. So, if you want Communism to succeed, religion has to be stamped out.
If you doubt me on any of this, I would encourage you to read the recent histories of China, Russia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Venezuela. Revisit those histories and tell me I'm wrong about the attack on religion.
Might I encourage my fellow believers in God not to be complacent in the face of this very troubling development in the American body politic?
Humphrey's Executor is overruled. The President is responsible for the full weight of the executive power. If you think that's a lot of power, you're right. Now let's get to work making the executive power much smaller.
If Barb McQuade is unhappy about this case, that’s the best possible indicator that the Constitution won today.
Also, I greatly enjoy the way she pretends that the unelected bureaucratic Leviathan of the federal administrative state is “independent” of the iron rule of the Democrat Party.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Rifle, Colorado Helitack crew, where these tragic wildland firefighter losses occurred from, are an incredibly skilled, quick-insertion, rapid response team of Americans cut down in their prime protecting Utah and Colorado families from wildland fire. As soon as a major out of control fire happens, they rappel from their helicopter and to build a fire line with hand tools and chainsaws to try and protect life and our homes. These elite Americans make life possible in the Rockies.
When lightning strikes for example, in a particularly hard to get to part of the Western Slope and there’s a ton of dry fuel in a hard to reach area, the Rifle Helitack Crew will be first on the scene. These are typically GS 4/5 jobs through BLM or the Forest Service, low pay, long hours, and done because people love public land.
Remember them, and if you want to make a donation to the group that’s going to get plane tickets and accommodations for the families to attend memorials and so on, it’s the Wildland Fire Foundation that’s handling that for this group. I spoke to staff at one of their National Forest this morning and have seen the notice from their Forest Supervisor to confirm this is where early donations should go if you’re so inclined. Link in replies.
Praying for the families of:
-Emily Barker, 38, of Clinton Township, Michigan, assigned to the U.S. Forest Service Rifle Helitack.
-Nick Hutcherson, 27 of Glendale, Arizona, assigned to the U.S. Forest Service Kaibab National Forest.
-Sydney Watson, 26, of Warrior, Alabama, assigned to the U.S. Wildland Fire Service Rifle Helitack.
@BarbMcQuade The permanent unelected bureaucratic class of NOVA is having a bad day.
Congress members who hid behind the permanent unelected bureaucratic class are going to have bad days.
The US taxpayers will ultimately win as the bureaucracy shrinks.
