Reconstruction is moving forward at the railroad bridge as crews aim to complete the bridge before the end of this year. Contractors are constructing the bridge deck and are expected to remove falsework, or temporary support structures, this month.

On Thursday, May 14 beginning at 9 a.m., crews are scheduled to sweep along the outside shoulder in both directions of the 55 freeway between I-405 and I-5. Look out for a cleaner corridor!

This week, crews are expected to perform paving and electrical work along the project corridor, which will require the following closures:

🔸 Northbound SR-55 to northbound I-5 HOV connector closed from 9 p.m., Tuesday, May 12 to 5 a.m., Wednesday, May 13

🔸 Southbound I-5 to southbound SR-55 connector and McFadden Avenue off-ramp closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Tuesday, May 12 through Friday, May 15
