nobody is born believing they’re not good enough. you learn that shit. when you were a kid, you fell trying to walk and got back up without questioning whether you were meant to walk. you didn’t care how stupid you looked. you didn’t wonder if you were talented enough. you just kept trying until you figured it out.
somewhere along the way, you started expecting the worst and you started preparing for failure before you even gave yourself a chance to succeed.
imagine what you could do if you started believing things might actually work out for you instead of always expecting them to go wrong.
Stop treating every circumstance like a final answer.
Something didn't go your way, and suddenly you're questioning everything you've been affirming.
Why?
Because the moment something contradicts your assumption, you start treating it like a verdict.
They didn't text? You assume you're unwanted.
You had a bad day? You assume you're back to square one.
Your bank balance hasn't changed? You assume nothing is working.
But you're turning individual events into conclusions about your entire life.
You can acknowledge what happened without deciding what it means for your future.
Not every setback needs a new story. Not every uncomfortable moment needs an explanation.
Sometimes you just need to stop reacting long enough to remember who you've decided to be.
Don't let one moment convince you to abandon an identity you've been building.
If you have an intense soul, you need to pour that intensity into your hobbies/art. That energy needs to go somewhere or it'll swallow you. Your depth must have a purpose. Create your own worlds, that you and other like minded people can escape into. You have a super power.
You can achieve almost anything you want in life if you learn to master one thing: Shame. That fear of looking stupid. Fear of being judged. Fear of trying and failing in public. The reality is: People judge. People talk. And then… people forget. So, fuck what people think. Just do what you gotta do. This one singular mindset shift can change your whole life.
