@aaronp613 Even if 8.8.1 never released in 2023, we would’ve still gotten a watchOS 8 update this year for the activation certificate renewal due next year.
@aaronp613 Unless we get a new build of watchOS 26.6 or 26.6.1, the S6, S7, S8, SE 2, and Ultra 1 will all end on a build ending in 6-7. The Series 3 almost achieved this until June 2023 when watchOS 8.8.1 released.
@PlanetOfMemes JFK, Ronald Reagan, Abe Lincoln, and even George Washington. Definitely AI, as all are deceased, with Washington and Lincoln never being alive at the same time as McConnell.
@MacOSFinder It seems like that’s actually running some version of iOS 15 with the version number changed since it says “Software Version” instead of “iOS Version” which came in iOS 16.
@aaronp613 This must mean we’re getting iOS 9.3.7, 10.3.5, and possibly even 7.1.3, 6.1.7, and 5.1.2 for these legacy devices for the same reason we got iOS 12.5.8 earlier this year, to renew the activation certificate expiring early next year.

@DylanMcD8 I literally bought an 11 inch iPad Air M4 256 GB with cellular early last month from eBay for just $500 including tax and shipping. That same iPad configuration brand new from Apple’s website is literally double that price before tax now.
