Launched in collaboration with Developing Success, an organisation established in 2016 by Mr Nitin Jain & Mrs Neha as a noble facilitator towards the resettlement of Service veterans, this initiative by #SaptaShaktiCommand reflects the Indian Army’s steadfast commitment to the welfare, empowerment and long-term well-being of its veterans and prospective retirees.

Lt Col Bijai Singh, CO 13 Grenadiers (Ganga-Jaisalmer) on his camel after the camel mounted unit captured Rinhal post during 1971 War, that too without any mortal casualty. The unit occupied/captured various important posts in western sector including Bijnor & Ranihal (Rinhal) for which Major (later Brig) Jagmal Singh Rathore was awarded the Vir Chakra.
After the war his unit stayed in the desert areas of Rajasthan, 13 Grenadiers till 1973 operated on camels before being converted to a regular infantry battalion.
