Bupati Pati, Sudewo, tengah viral dan jadi perbincangan di media sosial, baik TikTok maupun Twitter. Videonya yang disebut menantang 50.000 pendemo pun menjadi bahan perbincangan pengguna media sosial tanah air. Disebutkan di laman BPK RI, Pemerintah Kabupaten Pati memutuskan untuk menyesuaikan tarif Pajak Bumi dan Bangunan Perdesaan dan Perkotaan (PBB-P2) sebesar 250 persen pada tahun 2025.

Keputusan ini diambil setelah rapat intensifikasi PBB-P2 bersama para camat dan anggota Pasopati di Kantor Bupati Pati.

Dilansir dari laman resmi Humas Kabupaten Pati, Bupati Pati tersebut menjelaskan bahwa penyesuaian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan daerah guna mendukung berbagai program pembangunan infrastruktur dan pelayanan publik. Sebab dibandingkan dengan Kabupaten Kepara, Kudus, dan Rembang, penerimaan PBB di Kabupaten Pati hanya sebesar Rp29 miliar, padahal wilayah Pati secara geografis dan potensi lebih besar.

Kami saat ini sedang berkoordinasi dengan para camat dan PASOPATI untuk membicarakan soal penyesuaian Pajak Bumi Bangunan (PBB). Telah disepakati bersama bahwa kesepakatannya itu sebesar ±250% karena PBB sudah lama tidak dinaikkan
