@DrRyanENT@SandraLeeMD You really can't think of ANY justification? Don't you think you're being overly dramatic and emotional here? I'm surprised. I assumed surgeons had better control over their emotions.
@TheUSMLE@NBMEnow Some people who were able to reschedule their cancelled appointments are now getting rescheduled again by @PrometricGlobal, who thinks those test takers don't have an appointment because they are once again OPERATING OFF OLD DATA. Please tell them to stop.
@TheUSMLE Aren't you tired of trying to putting out fires that @PrometricGlobal keeps setting? Why don't you take control back into your hands! Don't want medical schools to proctor? Fine. Proctor exams yourself! Think of all the extra $$$MONEY$$$ you could make. You know you want to.
@TheUSMLE@PrometricGlobal@NBMEnow The pandemic has been happening for OVER A MONTH. These "challenging times" were not caused by covid-19. IT WAS CAUSED BY YOU. GET YOUR GODDAMN SHIT TOGETHER. NYC faced thousands of covid-19 patients. All you had to do was SCHEDULE EXAMS.
@TheUSMLE@PrometricGlobal I thought it was just @PrometricGlobal that was grossly incompetent and run by complete imbeciles but I guess you're vying for the title too.
@TheUSMLE How many voicemails have you actually returned? I have left several yesterday and none have been returned yet. Are you following the @PrometricGlobal model where you return voicemails a week later when the issue doesn't even matter anymore? With a form letter?
@TheUSMLE Does the Prometric scheduling website reflect reduced capacity? Is there a possibility of rescheduling to a blocked seat? You have already caused harm to thousands of students. Please mitigate it by telling us if already cancelled students will face another purge.
@seanburkeh I guess I'll have to take back the nice things I said about you. Today was an unmitigated disaster and @PrometricGlobal continued silence is inexplicable and not part of any recommended strategy from business school. You seemed like you cared. I guess you don't.
@mucus_cast@TheUSMLE I thought that would be too much, but then their phone lines came up right after their customer support closed for the day. Convenient.
@PrometricGlobal There's so much conflicting information. Can you release an official statement? Which areas and what months have had 50% cancellations? When will cancellations for social distancing end? Has the Prometric website been updated with decreased seating capacity?
@TomWarren1357 Has the @PrometricGlobal rescheduling website been updated to reflect the 50% capacity for social distancing? If not, cancelled test-takers are now playing musical chairs with each other's cancelled seats.
@seanburkeh Does the Prometric online scheduler reflect social distancing seating capacities? If my appt is cancelled and I reschedule, is there a chance I'll be cancelled again? If IT can't adjust seating capacities, could a master dummy account reserve half the seats at all centers? Thanks
@seanburkeh Will randomly cancelled test-takers be informed at least a week prior? Anything less would be cruel given that some spend 2-3 months (now 4-6) studying fulltime for 1 exam. Are there plans to prioritize rescheduling of cancelled testtakers in any newly added testing capacity? TY
@paulkrugman Don't be silly. In the vacuum of any meaningful purpose in life, the diehard Trump supporters have made their love of Trump their identity. Giving up their king would mean returning to a hollow existence (caused by poverty, lack of opportunity, etc., but still).
@TheUSMLE Step 1 was changed to P/F to better the mental health of med students. Will the USMLE continue to look out for med students by demanding @PrometricGlobal give more than 72 hours notice of cancellation and priority rescheduling to any additional capacity added in the same month?
@Jingl1s @aafran_ @chrriba @PeteyBeatz62 @TheUSMLE@NBMEnow False analogy fallacy. Original argument was centers shouldn't reopen to avoid *forcing* test takers to put themselves at risk. There is no one *forcing* people to take these exams. If it's *literally* the same argument, please provide a source. It better be the same exact words.
