heyy #taysci5

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

@Choosy_Female it's cool! Thank you for answering my question

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

Adios #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

@Choosy_Female thank you for joining tonight! #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

I learned the "the March process" is incorrect and that evolution is not linear #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

@Choosy_Female is that when an extinction happens? #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

A6: Survival of the fittest ..but that doesn't always mean the fittest #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

A5: no there is different varieties of evolution #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

A4: simple..it's not how evolution works #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

@2footgiraffe @wolfbioedu I was just about to say that : Local man drowns walking in rain. #scistuchat sorry to get off topic

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

@wolfbioedu I think of it like a roof on a house to keep things from falling into our nose #scistuchat

[Prosanta Chakrabarty @PREAUX_FISH]

A3: Here is a good publication on human's sense of smell by Shepard http://t.co/8eG2E3hO2h #scistuchat

[dontactlikeicare @anapper2]

Q3: Why is our sense of smell so important in evolutionary theory? Give link #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

A3:helps us by deciding if something is harmful or not, i.e.:being able to decide if some foods taste bad or good by smelling it#scistuchat

[dontactlikeicare @anapper2]

Q2: What are some misconceptions about evolutionary theory? #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

A2: Evolution only occurs slowly and gradually #scistuchat

[Adam Taylor @2footgiraffe]

Theory: An explanation that has been tested by repeated observation #scistuchat

[dontactlikeicare @anapper2]

Q1: How is the way we use theory different from the way science uses theory? #scistuchat

[Slayden Seymore @5Sseymore5]

A1:our definition of theory usually includes "idea" while sciences actually have a evidence and experiments #scistuchat
