In our Year 4 spanish lessons with Mrs Lopez, we have been talking about ourselves. We can say our names, age, where we live, how we feel and today we even practised adjectival agreement when we learned how to say our nationalities.

Year 5 have used a pinching technique to make a Greek style thumb pot. We ensured our handle stayed on by crosshatching and knitting the clay to secure it. It was tricky and frustrating but we loved it. @BedfordPrimary

First, we recapped all of the ways we can stay safe online and discussed positive and negative posts from influencers.
We then used our digital media skills to create videos about keeping safe. @BedfordPrimary
We had a lovely English lesson today becoming investigators. We had to dig through sand trays and use our inference skills to find out clues about the character the items belonged to @BedfordPrimary

Today began with a visit from Merseyside Police, to introduce their Black History Month art competition. This year’s theme is ‘Black and Proud’ and children are asked to design a poster to reflect this. Ask your child about the prizes. @SouthportLTrust@BedfordPrimary
