When the Stoddard family learned how many students in Salt Lake City schools were food insecure, they decided to engage their young children in acts of service; packing bags with non-perishable food items.

Encouraging young children to participate in acts of service with their parents not only brings value to the community, but also teaches children empathy and helps them feel connected to the world around them.
With 85 percent of brain growth occurring before kindergarten, it is vital to interact and engage with your children during your child’s earliest years.
