Is your "boss" asking for an urgent favor to buy gift cards?

Over the past several years, our @UtahDCP has worked with the @UtahAG to secure over $600 million for Utahns for the harms caused by actors across the "value chain" of opioid distribution, causing a multitude of devastating addiction, death, and heartbreak.
But the perpetrator most culpable was the Sackler family, owners of Purdue pharmacy, the originator of prescription opioids. This family single-handedly wreaked untold havoc on the American society--they knew their product was addictive and they knew it was harmful, and they also knew it was very, very profitable, and so kept raking in the billions. Reprehensible behavior of the darkest variety.
This $7.4 billion settlement, now fully in effect, finally gets to some sense of justice for the Sackler family.
