@KathrynDuval@clhubes My 4 year old recently told me, mid-meltdown, in his most serious and most angry voice "You're not the Mayor of this town any more"
@Remember_Sarah@BlairBraverman - my trust in you both was beyond justified. Thank you so much for recognizing and sharing the absolute beauty and power and humanity in their story. I know the story inside and out but you still made me cry and see it through fresh eyes. Much love
@yourewrongabout @Remember_Sarah ahhhhhh! Two of my favourite women talking about the Andes Survivors?? I'm nervous to listen, as it's a life-changing story for me. But I trust you. (This is me at the actual crash site in 2008 with one of the Survivors, for reals life-changing)
This is genius. Italian singer Adriano Celentano released a song in the 70s with nonsensical lyrics meant to sound like American English—to prove that Italians would just love any American song. And it was a hit.
@DaraKaye@MarisaLancione@Remember_Sarah I am now laughing hysterically at the very thought. I may have lost all my marbles just from THINKING about twenty one more of my kid 🤣
@MarisaLancione@DaraKaye@Remember_Sarah Agreed! My two year old is SO fun and my favourite person to hang out with, but by the end of the day I am still very ready to not hang out with him for a few hours. One is definitely enough for me.
@laura_payton It scares me too much to think about. My sweet, cuddly, loving wee boy will not always be so. I just love him and try to do right by him and hope for the best. And hope that once he's out in the world without me he doesn't get hurt too badly. My heart aches just thinking about it
@laura_payton Max was a big sleeper at that age too. I wore him in a carrier a lot of the time and we had a whole photo album of "Max sleeps through stuff".
@canadaposthelps - I know you folks are swamped but I've had two packages from Saskatoon to Vancouver with tracking info showing them sitting in Calgary since November 30th. Any way to help? They're for my kid's first Christmas and we're getting a little worried they're lost.
@TheBloggess It's my son's first Halloween so we dressed him up as a very fierce wee tiger and drove around to wave at family members from a distance. So we're virtually waving at you too! (Well I'm waving, he's growling adorably)
Obsessed with Taiwan’s “down-to-earth” Halloween party, where you ONLY dress up as normal people in everyday situations. This is “the woman looking for a seat at food court”:
